Chichaqua Park Environmental Display

Graphic Design: Collaborative Processes (GD 325)

Task
With a team of classmates, work with a professional client to develop a graphic design related project. Our client was a 3-D designer for a park in Iowa  called Chichaqua.
The park had a set of three grain silos that they wanted to renovate into a historical display on farming in the area, and an informative display on permaculture that would invite visitors  to participate.
The entire process was a group effort to envision an interactive display that would be engaging for a broad audience that would also inspire people to participate in permaculture.
I was a leader throughout the process encouraging dialogue, but my main visual contribution was an illustration of a seven-level food forest.
As a group of student designers, we developed an immersive experience from start to finish with checkpoints of interactive design that would engage the audience and draw them to the call to action: to involve themselves in permaculture.
